Crafting Your Own Mini Garden: DIY Terrarium

Welcome to our DIY and craft web stories! In this series, we'll explore different crafting ideas, techniques, and tutorials that will inspire your creativity and help you make beautiful things with your own hands.

In our first story, we'll be learning how to make a DIY terrarium. Terrariums are a beautiful and easy way to bring some greenery into your home or office

Here's what you'll need to get started: A glass container with a lid Potting soil Small pebbles or rocks Activated charcoal Plants (succulents, air plants, or small ferns work well) Decorative items (optional)

First, place a layer of small pebbles or rocks at the bottom of your container. This will help with drainage and prevent water from pooling at the bottom.

Next, add a thin layer of activated charcoal to prevent any bacteria or mold from growing in your terrarium. Then, add a layer of potting soil on top of the rocks and charcoal.

Make small holes in the soil where you'll place your plants. Be sure to leave enough space between the plants so they have room to grow. Once your plants are in place,

you can add decorative items such as small stones, moss, or figurines to add some personality to your terrarium. Finally, place the lid on your container and put it in a bright spot with indirect sunlight.

Water your terrarium sparingly, only when the soil feels dry to the touch. And voila! You now have a beautiful and low-maintenance terrarium that will brighten up any room.
